In Beatrice Prior's

My Thoughts:
WOW!! This book is AWESOME! I mean it; I really don’t
know what to say other than … I have been very lucky with my books recently :D,
I’m really pleased with myself.
Divergent is the first book in the Divergent series and
it is a dystopian book; for you who does not know what that means … it
is a book in an imaginary place where the conditions and quality of like are
different and unpleasant [from deprivation or oppression or terror – the
opposite of Utopia].
This book is about a world where society is divided
into five factions each representing a particular virtue or value … you have
the honest [Candor], the brave [Dauntless], the Peaceful [Amity], the
intelligent [Erudite] and the selfless [Abnegation], which our heroine 16 year
old Beatrice is coming from … in this world when they reach the age of 16 they
should choose the faction you want to join, either stay in your faction that
you lived in your whole life with you family or choose to transfer to other
faction and leave your family.
Beatrice now is 16 and she like every other 16 year old
have to choose a faction as well but when she attend the test where they tell
her which the faction is the most suitable for her the result where very
strange … they told her that she is Divergent which mean she have in her more
than one virtue and what I understand that she and other Divergent have the freedom
to think in a way of their own not what people or society force them to be … in
the day of the ceremony Beatrice changed her name to Tris as well as her
faction but I’m not going to tell you more.
Sorry, sorry … one more thing, Tris have been told that
she must not say a word to anyone about her being a divergent because its dangers
… and of course all of you will ask why , why being a Divergent is dangers and can
being Divergent help her save her friends , family and her boyfriend Four.
This book have a lot of action , act of bravery,
friendship relationship and romance. I’m just happy that I won’t have to wait
one year for the next book which will be released in May 1th, 2012 - :D
