For months Clara Gardner
trained to face the fire from her visions, but she wasn't prepared for the
choice she had to make that day. And in the aftermath, she discovered that
nothing about being part angel is as straightforward as she thought.
Now, torn between her love
for Tucker and her complicated feelings about the roles she and Christian seem
destined to play in a world that is both dangerous and beautiful, Clara
struggles with a shocking revelation: Someone she loves will die in a matter of
months. With her future uncertain, the only thing Clara knows for sure is that
the fire was just the beginning.
In this compelling sequel
to "Unearthly," Cynthia Hand captures the joy of first love, the
anguish of loss, and the confusion of becoming who you are.

My Thoughts:
Hallowed is the second book of Unearthly series, this book picks up where the first
book Unearthly left off.
In this
book you will discover that nothing is as it seems; I mean there are things
that Clara thought that she know for certain but then; she find that she never
knew the whole truth about herself or her family. Then there is this thing with
Christian and her purpose in earth.
Also, her
boyfriend Tucker and their relationship … can they keep going out because the
only certain thing for her is the love between the two of them … and her
brother Jeffery … he is keeping something from her but she can’t figure it out.
The one
good thing is that her mother start telling her about her past, purpose and the
secret that she has been trying so hard to keep … also she start allowing them
Clara and her brother to be more involved in the angel blood thing … moreover,
she is going to find out things about her dad … who is he? … Where is he? … Why
have he left them in the first place?
I have to
say this book is amazing, I really like it and enjoy it … I know you will like
it as well … the mystery and how thing will turn out, also the development in
the relationship between Clara, Tucker and Christian … all this will make you
thrilled … let’s not to forget the action as will since the black wing Samzjeen
will show up once again … seriously, I’m so looking forward for the third book :D
