Review: A Witch in Winter by Ruth Warburton

My Thoughts:

A Witch in Winter is the first book of the Winter Trilogy; the story is about a girl Anna Winterson who moves to Winter a fishing village with her father from London where she lived all her life.

In Winter her father bought a house which been abandon for a long time; it called the Wicker House but the people in Winter call it Witch House … of course the house is cold, damp and it is need a lot of work so you can actually call it home … you can say it is actually a ghost house. 

So Anna have to move school if you know what I been which is that she will meet this handsome guy who she will fell in love with. Seth, who is popular in a bad way not because he’s a model student or the most handsome guy in school … but just because he is a bad guy who smoke, drunk and fight.  

After a week in witch house, Anna’s father have to go back to London so he ask her to ask some of her new friends to stay overnight with her for the weekend … in the weekend she and her friends found a book of spell that she and her father thought  it is a cooking book … of course her friend wanted to try it so they insisted that Anna try a love spell with them ... and the person she thought of while doing the the spell is Seth and that made Seth fell in love with her.

She didn’t know why the spell worked with her and not with her friends … I mean seriously she thought it’s only school girls night and it is only a silly spell but when she found out that it worked, she tried all what she can to stop it … and there where she learned from her classmate mother that she is a witch and a powerful one as will … and after a while some organization came for her because they want to use her powers as they wanted to do with her mother. 

I liked this book very much and I really think it is going to be a very enjoyable trilogy, the second book in going to be released in July 2012 … Title: A Witch in Love :D
