But lately, things have
been weird, even for Mythos. First, mean girl Jasmine Ashton was murdered in
the Library of Antiquities. Then, someone stole the Bowl of Tears, a magical
artifact that can be used to bring about the second Chaos War. You know, death,
destruction and lots of other bad, bad things. Freaky stuff like this goes on
all the time at Mythos, but I'm determined to find out who killed Jasmine and
why—especially since I should have been the one who died. . .
My Thoughts:
Fantastic … I really liked this book … the story is
mostly around the Greek and Norse mythology and I like it. In this book our heroin
Gwen has start going to Mythos Academy second year… a school for myths and magical warriors.
Most of the kids there have a magical power as well as
a bad attitude … the students are consist of Spartan, Valkyrie, Romanian,
Gypsy, Viking and so on.
Gwen is a Gypsy who has a touch magic till know they
didn’t mention a lot about what is a touch magic … I mean all what they said is
that when she touch an object or a person she can see and feel the emotion of the object bad
or good one ... as well as the history of the object.
Gwen didn’t get alone with the other kids at school because
she always felt that she didn’t belong with them … I mean she do has magic but
she isn’t a warrior and her magic is something what her family inherited mother
to daughter … further, Gwen used her magic to get more money as she go around
finding things for people … thing they lost it or forget where they put it.
Then she meets Login Quinn a very handsome Spartan, who
somehow saved her life twice … and slowly she fell in love with.
While Gwen was working her part time job in the library
she found the most popular, rich powerful Valkyrie Jasmin murdered near the case
where they keep the Bowl of Tears a very powerful artifact which of course weren’t
in it is place [stolen].
Here where Gwen go all detective and try to find who
murdered Jasmin to kill time mostly and because she has this feeling that there
is something wrong with the whole situation.
Finally, I loved this book … it is pretty interesting
and I am sure you will like it as well :D
