From: Goodread - Awake at Dawn
My Thoughts:
Awake at Dawn is the second book in the Shadow Falls
series; this book pick up right where the first book Born at Midnight ended.
Kylie still has no clue what precisely she is, and can she discover this out to
be able to save herself or not.
This book is about Kylie development and how her powers
are starting to grow quickly and the discovery of her new power such as reading
emotion, healing sicknesses and having super strength and hearing; of course with
a bit of action and romance throughout the story.
Overall, the book has the same characters as the first
book, with development in their relationship in love and friendship. I loved
this second book and I am so looking forward to the third book which will be
released in April 2012.
