My Thoughts:

OMG, this book is amazing, so AWESOME! … I finish it in one day … I DON’T BELIEVE IT MY SELF … I mean it is not like I have an option I just couldn’t stop reading till the end :D

City of Ashes Is the second book of the Mortal Instruments series, this book start a while after the first book ends. 

In this book the story become more complicated and that after Clary found out that Jace is her brother … but really after what after they fell in love with each other I mean her father should be a little bit more responsible … anyway and because they are brother and sister they can’t be together which made Clary think that if she can’t be happy at least her childhood friend Simon can; and that why she become his girlfriend … I mean she dose love him … OK, not like how she love Jace but Simon is really someone very very important to her … which is good, I think!!!

However, Valentine is not leaving them alone because he wants his children to be with him and choose his side … which will lead to a fight … if I have to be honest a very big one. Clary and Jace, will find out that they are not like other shadow hunter … that they have power which of course they didn’t know about and Valentine did.

Also, liked the involvement of the other character of this book and the new one as will… I loved Luke, Izzi, Alec, Bane and Max.
